Erectus the Game is a Free-to-play, Strategy empire builder, MMO Game in a pre-historic world that existed 130,000 years ago.

Erectus the Game. It is a free-to-play strategy-focused empire builder MMO about our history. The name Erectus is taken from Homo erectus, the ancestor of modern man. Both human races want their space to live and became enemies in Erectus the Game. Players take on the role of Homo sapiens and build their empires with the end goal of defeating the Homo erectus armies. The story takes place 130,000 years ago and allows players to form alliances and unite against the common enemy as well as against each other.

Players’ success will rely heavily on their strategic, economic and diplomatic management skills. As the game world shifts, players will have to quickly adapt their strategies and successfully micromanage their empire in order to expand and achieve greatness.

As the game develops the players will come into contact with the Homo erectus forces more often, either on their own or as part of an alliance uniting against their common enemy. As the game reaches its end stage the victors will either be the Homo sapiens or the Homo erectus, the player is tasked with ensuring it is the former. There can only be one winning alliance who will have to capture the Erectus leader and hold him for exactly two weeks.
